5, 10, 15, Bigville
ad campaign
Our work with Kazakh developer BI Group started with an image campaign and a refreshed design system. You can see them here.
Once the BI image was built,
we moved on to more tactical tasks. Now we had to tell people about Bigville. It isn’t just a residential complex. It’s a whole term and philosophy that BI Group introduced.
we moved on to more tactical tasks. Now we had to tell people about Bigville. It isn’t just a residential complex. It’s a whole term and philosophy that BI Group introduced.
Bigville is a city within a city
where it’s a 5-minute walk to everything you need daily, 10 minutes to what you need weekly, and 15 minutes to what you need once a month.
But only people in the capital, Astana, knew about it. We needed the word “Bigville” to be heard in every corner of Kazakhstan and even Uzbekistan.
So for this term we made a video tutorial that explains, in a clear, rhythmic, almost hypnotic way, what it is and how great it is to live there.

It was supposed to be a live-action campaign. But internal changes at the company put the project and the budget on hold.
But we and the client had fallen too hard for the idea to just drop it. So the brutal phase of cutting the production budget began.
we cut the budget by 87%
And then nobody had a choice or an excuse left: the project was back in progress.
Then, together with And Action studio, we gave the idea a second life and a new form.
9 weeks of polishing, drawing, animating and approvals, and here it is: a warm, handcrafted animated story.
